ANDREA MORIARTY
Whether writing, speaking, or consulting, Andrea Moriarty has a passion to move people from the margins to the limelight through the creative arts. Her brutal honesty, affectionate humor, and innovative resources offer unending hope to parents and educators.
She gets really excited brainstorming and consulting with other parents to design a purposeful life for their adult son or daughter. Her conviction that there is always a way, fuels creative programming and customized problem solving.
Moriarty and her husband, Jim, are adoptive parents of grown twins. Allie is a board-certified music therapist with her Masters of Education in Inclusive Education and Reid is a musician, front man of Jungle Poppins band, and YouTube personality hosting Talk Time with Reid Moriarty, Reid Reads, and Late in the Day with Reid and Friends.
Moriarty has served on the boards of Banding Together, Young Life Capernaum, New Village Arts, and Able ARTS Work in the San Diego area where she cooks from scratch and whistles while she works.
